That question followed me through remote villages in South Kalimantan, where I helped lead Indonesia’s population census during the pandemic. I saw the stories behind the stats: migrant workers paying more than they earn, families missing from any record. Since then, I’ve made it my mission: let data amplify unheard voices.
For the past 8+ years at BPS-Statistics Indonesia, I’ve worked to make that happen. From building better statistics for policy, mentoring young data minds, to collaborating with the UN on big data and inequality, I’ve learned that the most powerful data is the kind that inspires us to grow; personally, professionally, and as part of something bigger.
Outside work, I find joy in simple things: warm pisang goreng, designing infographics, and growing a grassroots community of young statisticians through Esbe.
If you believe data should be more than just numbers, let’s connect. I'd love to hear your story.
